Description
This eBook is a formatted copy of my undergraduate senior thesis in the field of anthropology, by which I was awarded my Bachelor's Degree. It was well received as a presentation at an Annual Conference for the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness. The study regards the way in which ehtheogens, or psychointegrators, have been used by every culture of the world for thousands of years, though this practice indeed stems tens of thousands or more years into humanity's collective past. With a myriad of professional sources, I defend the concept that ethnic groups which comprise modern Americans should be allowed access to the utilization of entheogens as they were used for therapy and religious worship by their ancestors (in some cases no more than tens or hundred years ago). De-regulation would necessarily need an organizational hierarchy to facilitate programs for research, development, and implementation, as well as international collaborative measures. I propose nascent ideas to address this.
